Terms and Conditions

 

By booking and using the residential cleaning services provided by Splash Maid LLC, (referred to as "we," "us," or "our"), you (the "Client") agree to the following terms and conditions.

 

1. Service Contract

 

  • Scope of Work: We will perform the cleaning services agreed upon during the booking or quoting process. Any changes or additions to the service must be requested and approved by us at least 24 hours before the scheduled service time.

  • Pricing: All quotes and estimates are based on the information provided by the Client and are subject to change if the condition of the home or the scope of work differs upon arrival. The final price will be confirmed before work begins.

  • Payment: Payment is due in full on the day of service. We accept cash and credit cards. A credit card is required to be kept on file for all bookings to secure the appointment and for any cancellation fees.

  • Late Fees: A late fee of  5% will be applied to any payments not received within a day of the service date.

 

2. Booking, Cancellations, and Rescheduling

 

  • Cancellations: We require at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment.

  • Cancellation Fee: If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, a cancellation fee of $25 will be charged.

  • Access to Home: The Client is responsible for ensuring our cleaning team has unhindered access to the property at the scheduled time. If we are unable to enter the premises, a lockout fee equivalent to the cancellation fee will be applied.

 

3. Damage and Breakage

 

  • Liability: While our staff are professionally trained to handle items with care, accidents can happen. We are fully insured and bonded. We will not be liable for damage to items that are not secured properly (e.g., heavy pictures hanging from thumbtacks) or items that were already damaged before our service.

  • Reporting Damage: Any claims for damage or breakage must be reported to us in writing within 24 hours of the service.

  • Valuable Items: We request that you secure all valuable, irreplaceable, or sentimental items (e.g., jewelry, family heirlooms) prior to our visit. We are not responsible for the loss or damage of such items.

 

4. Your Responsibilities

 

  • Preparation: We ask that you "de-clutter" your home before our arrival. This includes picking up toys, clothing, and other personal items to allow our team to focus on cleaning and not tidying.

  • Safety: The Client agrees to provide a safe working environment for our staff. This includes securing pets, notifying us of any dangerous conditions, and ensuring the home has working electricity and running water. We reserve the right to leave a job if we feel our safety is at risk, and the full service fee will still apply.

 

5. Satisfaction Guarantee

 

  • We stand by our work. If you are not completely satisfied with an area we've cleaned, please contact us within 24 hours of the service. We will return to re-clean the area to your satisfaction at no additional charge. This guarantee does not apply to areas that were not part of the original service agreement.
